Hilarity will ensue at the Hippodrome Theatre this week! Come check out the newest production to hit the stage, School of Rock!

With performances running from Mar 20-25, the Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center (12 North Eutaw Street Baltimore) presents School of Rock. Show times are 8 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Based on the 2003 movie, a down-on-his-luck wannabe rock star poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school to make ends meet. When he discovers his students’ musical talents, he enlists his fifth-graders to form a rock group and conquer the Battle of the Bands.

Andrew Lloyd Webber, the man who brought rock and romance to Broadway, is back with a new heart-stirring hit. Based on the hit film of the same name, School of Rock features 14 new songs from Webber and all the original songs from the movie. This high-octane smash delivers face-melting guitar riffs performed live by an incredibly talented cast of youngsters and touching romance in equally awesome doses!
