In its 16th year, Maryland Deathfest XVI brings the best and most extreme underground death metal, grindcore, doom, thrash, black metal and experimental bands from all over the world to the big stage!

Maryland Deathfest XVI is one of the most successful metal music festivals in North America, and it’s coming to Rams Head Live (20 Market Pl Baltimore) and Baltimore Soundstage (124 Market Pl Baltimore) Thursday May 24 through Sunday May 27.

Ticket prices vary and can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/maryland-deathfest-2018-tickets-35649256887. There are no refunds and there is a limit of 5 tickets per ticket option per person.

Never conforming to trends, or being limited by genre restrictions, Deathfest showcases what extreme music, both new and old, is capable of. With an emphasis on diversity, the festivals bring together the very best death metal, grindcore, doom, thrash, hardcore, black metal, and experimental bands from all around the world.  Since 2015, Deathfest has expanded, adding festivals in California, the Netherlands, and Quebec, along with an additional event in Baltimore, called Days of Darkness.
