Have a Smashing Good Time at the Maryland Science Center

When the Halloween festivities come to an end, bring your jack-o’-lantern to the Maryland Science Center for a memorable send-off!

Partake in a Pumpkin Smash at the Maryland Science Center (601 Light St. Baltimore) this Saturday Nov 3 from 12 – 4 p.m.

The pumpkin launch tube is ready to propel your gourd down four stories to the patio below! They’ll be collecting and chucking your pumpkins off the MSC roof all afternoon. It’s bound to be a smashing good time! Pumpkins must be collected before 2 p.m. to be dropped off from the roof.

Pumpkin diameter MUST be under 15 inches at the widest point to fit through our rooftop drop chute. MSC staff will be throwing the pumpkins off the roof, spectators will watch from the patio below.

Pumpkins will be numbered upon intake and announced pre-drop and during drop, so you know when yours is being propelled to the ground below. There will be three rounds of drops happening at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Pumpkin Smash activities are included in regular admission price. Admission for adults is $24.95, children ages 3-12 is $18.95, Seniors (62+) is $23.95 and members are free! Purchase your tickets today at https://www.mdsci.org/visit/pricing-tickets/.
