Fells Point Feels The Quickening

Prepare to be spooked and intrigued by the newest on-stage production to hit Fells Point Corner Theatre.

The Quickening will run through Sunday Jul 1 at Fells Point Corner Theatre (251 S Ann St. Baltimore) on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. There will be two Saturday matinees on Jun 16 and Jun 23 at 2 p.m. as well.

The Quickening tells the story of a young couple moving into their new home on the outskirts of Richmond to start a family. Their burgeoning life is quickly disrupted by a ghost from the Civil War. Can the soon-to-be mother find the courage to learn the truth and face the unknown in order to save the life of her unborn child? The Collaborative Theatre Co. and Fells Point Corner Theatre will develop and produce this world premiere production from one of Baltimore’s most prolific and celebrated writers, Mark Scharf.
